[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo Reporter] The film 'Odyssey' (directed by Christopher Nolan) has surpassed 10 million viewers.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated cinema ticket system, 'Odyssey' exceeded 1 million cumulative viewers at 4 p.m. on the 6th, 33 days after its release.

It has become the second 10-million-viewer film among movies released this year. Following 'The Man Who Lives with the King' directed by Jang Hang-joon, it has captivated Korean audiences.

Among foreign films, it is the first 10-million work of the year. This comes 4 years after 'Avatar: The Way of Water' (2022). For a Nolan film, it is the first since 'Interstellar' 12 years ago.

What is more remarkable is that the box office momentum has not slowed. Since its release on the 5th of last month, 'Odyssey' has maintained the number one position at the box office.

Last weekend (4th-6th) alone, it drew 698,399 viewers. The real-time reservation rate as of 8 a.m. on the 7th also recorded 45.6%, continuing its long run.

Meanwhile, 'Odyssey' depicts the hero Odysseus, who led the Trojan War to victory, overcoming trials of fate on his journey home.
