IU, Partial Advance Release of Regular 6th Album…Participates in Songwriting for Double Title Tracks

[Dispatch=Reporter Yuha] IU is releasing a pre-release single ahead of her sixth full-length album.

EDAM Entertainment unveiled a tracklist video for IU's new digital single "From This Star" on the 7th via SNS. The video featured the song title and credits against a space background.

The single contains a total of 2 songs. The double title tracks are "From This Star" and "Dear my crazy soulmate." IU participated in the songwriting for both tracks.

Music videos will be unveiled sequentially. The "Dear my crazy soulmate" music video will be released on the 10th. "From This Star" is scheduled to open on the 16th.

This is her first new song release in a year. IU surprise-released the digital single "Bye, Summer" on September 10 last year. This new album will also be released on the 10th, the same date.

IU had planned to hold a solo concert in September and then release her sixth full-length album. However, she temporarily halted all schedules due to symptoms of eustachian tube dysfunction.
