[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Pop artist Nancy Liang (real name Park Hye-ryeong, 50) has been booked by police on suspicion of drunk driving.

A representative from 'Megaton Entertainment' told Dispatch in a phone call on the 8th, "Nancy Liang is currently under investigation on suspicion of drunk driving."

Nancy Liang was caught driving under the influence at around 3:45 a.m. that day in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, after drinking and driving near her residence.

The representative explained, "Nancy Liang drank champagne with an acquaintance," and "she was sent home after a breathalyzer test as requested by police."

Her blood alcohol concentration was reportedly at a level that would result in license revocation. There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time. Whether there was any personal injury or property damage has not yet been confirmed.

Seoul Gangnam Police Station plans to summon Nancy Liang for questioning on suspicion of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act. The department plans to ascertain the specific circumstances of the incident.
