"'This time, a wolf in love'…&TEAM, the evolution of DNA (Showcase)"

&TEAM has continued an intense wolf narrative. They experienced confusion with their werewolf identity (Under the Skin), and wandered (War Cry, among others). They overcame their wounds and rose again (Back to Life).

This time, they depict a wolf in love. They took inspiration from the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf." It's a story of a wolf that shut itself away after being rejected by the world, gradually changing after meeting a destined encounter.

&TEAM held a media showcase commemorating the release of their Korean mini second album "Mark on Me" on the 8th in the afternoon at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

"Mark on Me" is an album that adds the new emotion of love to &TEAM's identity, "wolf DNA." They expressed how their hearts change after meeting a destined being through music.

Harua and Nicholas explained, "Until now, we showed you the image of a lonely wolf boy. When he meets someone who accepts him with all his scars and wounds, he opens his heart."

The new album contains a total of six songs. Title track "Mark on Me," "Good Boy," "Love Jang," "Accelerate," "Empty," and "Night to howl!" are included.

The genre expanded as much as the emotional range. They encompass pop, hip-hop, retro, R&B, rock ballad, and punk. They expressed how their hearts change after meeting "you" through different genres.

The title track "Mark on Me" is a pop track featuring standout piano melodies. The intro gradually builds tension, and the chorus explodes with emotion accompanied by grand orchestration. The nine members' deep and low voices are added on top.

It was also a new challenge for the members. It was a song with a different texture from the music they had shown so far. Yuma said confidently, "I thought that with &TEAM as we are now, if expressed well, we could show you a grown appearance."

Uji also added, "'&TEAM suits this kind of love song too,' we wanted to show you. We wanted to show you &TEAM's charm that is more mature and profound."

Fuma recalled a musical when he first heard the song. He pointed out, "The intro and chorus sections are grand. Compared to before, we expressed emotion with a more powerful voice. We paid attention to every breath."

&TEAM unveiled the "Mark on Me" stage for the first time that day. All members held hand microphones. They delivered a stable live performance, freely switching between chest voice and falsetto.

The performance chose change. They reduced the intensity from their existing powerful group choreography. With articulate yet refined movements, they expressed the subtle emotions of a wolf in love.

They placed a dance break in the outro. K said, "I tried to follow the mood of the song through my gaze and expression. We attempted a dance break for the first time while reducing intensity. You will be able to see a different side of &TEAM."

The music video continued the album's narrative. The members encountered a being that captivated them, then followed the traces they left behind. Eventually, the two beings became one, and the same mark appeared on each other's bodies.

&TEAM opened their Korean activities last October with their Korean debut album "Back to Life." The album sold approximately 1.14 million copies on its first day of release. It achieved million-seller status in both Korea and Japan.

Their stage scale has also grown. Recently, they held their first solo dome concert at Nagoya Dome in Japan. Uji reflected, "We promised the Lunes (fanclub name) that 'let's meet at the dome someday,' and I was grateful to be able to achieve it in such a short time."

&TEAM built confidence through various performances. Taki said, "When we debuted in Korea, there was great tension. As I breathed with the Lunes, confidence was born. I grew through experiencing various stages like Asia tours."

They also set new goals for this activity. Receiving the number one trophy on SBS-TV's "Inkigayo," which leader Uji hosts. Jo laughed and said, "It would be nice if hyung Uji called our name directly for us."

Maki said, "I hope it remains long in memory, like the title of the title track. We will engrave our new image deeply in your hearts. We ask for your support."

&TEAM will release "Mark on Me" on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 8th.
