'Squid Game,' Netflix non-English show No. 1…"Two weeks after release, top 10 in 45 countries"

According to the latest Tudum count (August 31-September 6), Netflix's 'Field Mouse' (Screenplay by Lee Jae-gon, Directed by Kim Hong-sun) took the No. 1 spot on the Global Top 10 Non-English Shows chart.

It achieved this just two weeks after release. The drama met global viewers via Netflix on August 28. In its first week, it had entered the same chart at No. 5.

'Field Mouse' recorded 4.4 million viewing hours (calculated by dividing viewing time by the work's runtime). It appeared on the Top 10 lists in 45 countries in total.

'Field Mouse' is a work inspired by Korean traditional folklore. It tells the story of a novelist who has had his name, face, and life stolen by a mysterious entity, pursuing its identity.

Ryu Jun-yeol took on a dual role as novelist Moon Jae-wa and Yoo Min, who becomes the field mouse. Seol Kyung-gu played loan shark Noh Ja, and Lee Gyoo-hyung played police officer Sun-yong.
