His agency 'Upper Room' announced on the 10th, "Mark will release his new song 'My Friend' through various music platforms at 1 p.m. (Korean time) today."

'My Friend' is a medium-tempo pop genre. It is a song for those contemplating true love. It depicts the moment of starting anew after passing through one chapter.

In particular, this song is Mark's first new release since Upper Room's establishment. He participated in the entire process of songwriting, composition, and arrangement, infusing it with his own message.

The music video focused on the scenes created by music, person, and space. Director Gus Black took charge of directing, capturing Mark's natural appearance.

Beyond the new song, Mark also introduced various fan communication platforms. On the 9th, he launched 'Mark's Voice Mailbox' on Weverse. He also opened 'Rei-lo'.
