[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Actress Yoon Yeo-jung did not win at the American Emmy Awards.
The Television Academy (ATAS) held the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on the 7th (Korean time).
Yoon Yeo-jung was nominated for Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series/Movie for her role as Park Hoejang in the Netflix series "Angry People Season 2."
However, the Supporting Actress trophy went to Hollywood actress Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis). She appeared to shed tears, moved by her first Emmy Award win.
This Emmy Awards ceremony will take place over three days. The category in which Yoon Yeo-jung was nominated was announced at a separate ceremony on the 6th and 7th, not on the 15th when the main ceremony is held.
"Angry People Season 2" was selected as a nominee in a total of 16 categories including Supporting Actress. As of this date, it won in three categories: Outstanding Sound, Sound Editing, and Costume Design.
Meanwhile, Yoon Yeo-jung has a track record of becoming the first Korean actor to win an Oscar in 2021 (Minari).
