[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Actors Kim Young-gwang and Chae Soobin are returning with an electrifying romance.

Netflix announced on the 10th that "the series 'Charge Me Up' (screenplay by Song Yu-chae, directed by Park Su-won) starring the two has confirmed its release on October 9."

'Charge Me Up' is a romantic comedy based on a web novel of the same name. It tells the story of a man whose artificial heart battery is depleted and a woman with electric powers.

Related posters and trailers have been unveiled. The poster first features Baek Ho-rang (played by Kim Young-gwang) and Na Bo-bae (played by Chae Soobin) standing hand in hand.

The tagline on the poster is also significant. The copy reads "Charged when touching, discharged when apart, electrified by love," sparking curiosity about the relationship dynamic between the two.

The trailer begins with Na Bo-bae's secret confession. After being struck by lightning, she gained electric powers. With the ability to electrocute those around her with just a touch, she lived in complete isolation.

Baek Ho-rang's story was also revealed. He was on the brink of undergoing an artificial heart battery replacement surgery and taking over TS Group. At this crucial time, his path crossed with Na Bo-bae.

They ended up meeting out of necessity. Baek Ho-rang proposed a skin-to-skin contact contract for charging his artificial heart. Na Bo-bae was also in desperate need of a romantic relationship.

The touching K-romance came to an end with the line "Just charge me for three months until the re-surgery" and the two holding hands.

Meanwhile, 'Charge Me Up' will be released on the 9th of next month.
