"663 Billion Won in Sales from 4 Performances"…BTS, US Tour Results

[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju] BTS set a record-breaking box office performance at major U.S. stadiums.

Billboard announced on its website on the 10th (Korean time) a list of the largest-scale concerts ever held at 30 major U.S. National Football League (NFL) stadiums.

BTS ranked high in top revenue and attendance at multiple venues through this year's world tour "ARIRANG" and 2022 concerts.

The group held a total of four performances at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in May. They set the highest box office record since the venue's opening.

The concert ticket sales reached $49.5 million (approximately 66.3 billion won). The number of attendees over four days reached approximately 246,000.

What is impressive is that the second-highest record also belongs to BTS. Through a tour held in April 2022, they earned $35.9 million (approximately 48.1 billion won) in ticket sales.

BTS also took the top spot at Gillette Stadium. Ticket sales were $28.7 million (approximately 38.4 billion won), drawing a total of 133,000 attendees.

Beyond this, they also had the highest-grossing performance in Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. Sales over two days reached $27.6 million (approximately 36.9 billion won).

Raymond James Stadium in Tampa also saw the highest revenue from their tour. The group drew $40.7 million (approximately 54.5 billion won) and 194,000 attendees.

At MetLife Stadium in New York, one of the largest venues in the U.S., they achieved $31.8 million (approximately 42.5 billion won) in revenue and ranked third.

The "ARIRANG" phenomenon extended to global charts. It entered first place in "Live75" and "Global Concert Pulse," recently announced by U.S. "Pollstar."

Based on six performances at North American stadiums, their tour sold 72,004 tickets per show. They surpassed Noah Kahan and Karol G.

Average performance revenue is substantial. Eighteen performances held over the recent three months recorded $12.7 million (approximately 17 billion won) in revenue per show, placing first.

This is $3.3 million (approximately 4.4 billion won) higher than the average of Karol G, who is second in "Global Concert Pulse" ($9.4 million). The tour is scheduled through the first half of next year.

Meanwhile, BTS will embark on a South American tour starting with Bogotá next month on the 2nd.
