[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Actor Ahn Hyo-seop takes on a cooking survival challenge.
The JTBC new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Final Table' (screenplay and direction by Kim Do-hoon) unveiled the script reading scene on the 11th. Ahn Hyo-seop, Hong Hwa-yeon, Jang Ryul, and Jeong Yujin attended.
'Final Table' is a drama centered on cooking survival. It depicts chefs clashing as they compete in a contest to select Korea's best chef.
The scene proceeded in a warm atmosphere. With director Kim Do-hoon and the main cast of 'Final Table' gathered together, they naturally worked on their acting chemistry.
Ahn Hyo-seop took on the role of Kang Han, head chef of the restaurant 'Familia'. Like an overseas chef who travels around the world, he delivered lines in various languages.
Hong Hwa-yeon played Choi Song-yi, the hall manager of Familia. She showed a strong resolve that does not waver even while experiencing various incidents and accidents during restaurant operations.
Jang Ryul exuded charisma through the role of Cha Woo-jin, a chef at 'Exception'. Jeong Yujin played Sun Jung-won, a producer of the cooking show 'The Table: K Chef 2026'.
Additionally, Jang Young-nam took on the role of Moon Hae-seon, chairman of Pyung-yeon Group, the top domestic food service company, while Cha Ji-yeon revealed a chilling side as Baekhyun, Hae-seon's half-sibling.
The production team said, "The actors added their own color throughout the script reading" and expressed expectations that they "will showcase an acting ensemble that stimulates the five senses of viewers."
Meanwhile, 'Final Table' will air for the first time on the 24th of next month at 10:40 p.m. It can also be found through Amazon Prime Video.
