Na Hong-jin to Attend Busan Film Festival...Invited to Give 'Master Class' Lecture

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Director Na Hong-jin visits Busan. He will engage in in-depth film discussions with audiences.

The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) revealed on the 11th the attendees and detailed schedule for 'Master Class,' 'Cine Class,' and 'Special Talk.'

Director Na Hong-jin takes the lead as the first speaker of this year's 'Master Class.' He will give a lecture on the 8th of next month at the Culture Hall of Shinsegae Department Store Centum City in Busan.

He garnered attention domestically and internationally with 'Hope,' which was released last July. He drew critical acclaim by presenting a science fiction film with overwhelming action sequences.

Global masters are also coming. Philippine director Lav Diaz, French director Bertrand Mandico, and Japanese director Rintaro will join with fans.

'Cine Class' features creators and experts. Director Jang Yul, who directed 'Twilight of the Idols,' shares stories about film and life.

Also attending are Jang Won-seok, producer of the 'Crime City' series, Seifoula Samadian, Judith Godreche, Vigan, and actor Shim Eun-kyung.

'Special Talk' is a discussion program that shares behind-the-scenes stories of films alongside screenings. PD Kim Tae-ho visits with 'Mother Mary.'

Director Xu Anhua shares her life journey alongside film with audiences. Film critic Jung Sung-il reflects on Korean film history while remembering the late Ahn Sung-ki.

Meanwhile, the Busan International Film Festival takes place from the 6th to the 15th of next month around the Film Hall.
