"'Odyssey' Surpasses 10.83 Million…Rises to 6th Place in All-Time Foreign Film Box Office"

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated cinema ticket system, 'Odyssey' drew a cumulative audience of 10.834 million as of the 14th, 41 days after its release.

It ranked 6th in the all-time box office performance of foreign films released domestically. It surpassed 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' (10.5 million) and 'Avatar: The Way of Water' (10.82 million).

It also garnered the largest audience for a foreign film in the 2000s since the COVID-19 pandemic. It is challenging the 5th-place 'Avengers: Infinity War' (11.21 million).

'Odyssey' tells the story of Odysseus (played by Matt Damon), a hero who won in the Trojan War, overcoming trials and returning to his kingdom.

Matt Damon took on the role of Odysseus, King of Ithaca. Anne Hathaway played his wife Penelope, and Tom Holland portrayed his son Telemachus.

Meanwhile, 'Obsession' surpassed 500,000 cumulative viewers on that day. As a small-scale horror film, it is performing well domestically, bolstered by its North American box office success.
