[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] NEXZ set Latin America on fire. The group expanded its global presence through performances in the region.
NEXZ took the opening stage of the music festival "Rock in Rio," held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the 12th (Korea time).
This was the second time they performed in Latin America. They met local audiences following their appearance at "STRAYCITY" in Bogotá.
They lived up to their reputation as "next-generation performance specialists." NEXZ started with "Beatboxer" and presented "Oh Really?", "Summer," "Hard" and other tracks rearranged in rock versions.
There were also new song stages. They performed "Loco," "Epitaite," and the title track "Saucin'" from their fourth mini album. They also engaged with the audience from the stage.
Fans responded to the performance. "Saucin'" claimed the No. 1 spot on YouTube's daily charts in Venezuela, Uruguay, Ecuador, Costa Rica and other regions in the area.
Meanwhile, NEXZ will hold the second "STRAYCITY" concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 15th-16th.
