"Sim Eun-ha, seeing the green eyes again"…Jung Chae-yeon cast in 'M: Reboot'

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Actress Jung Chae-yeon transforms with green eyes. She took the lead role in 'M: Reboot'.

Tving announced the casting lineup for the new series 'M: Reboot' (Screenplay by Hong Eun-mi and Lee Jung-eun, Directed by Lim Dae-woong) on the 15th. They revealed that "Jung Chae-yeon and Jung Gun-joo will appear."

'M: Reboot' is an adaptation based on 'M' (1994) which starred Shim Eun-ha. It is a story of a ballerina with another personality and a detective pursuing her shadow.

Jung Chae-yeon challenges her first triple role since her acting debut. She plays Marie, a promising high school ballerina and genius surgeon Jennie, and M, a mysterious personality.

Marie is a rising star ballerina attending a prestigious arts high school. She suffers from nightmares before an audition for a top-tier ballet school. Then the mysterious personality M awakens.

She handles another character besides these roles. She plays surgeon Jennie from America. She is introduced as a mysterious character shrouded in mystery.

Jung Chae-yeon said, "It is an honor to be part of a good project," and added, "Since it is a new challenge, I will study hard and be able to grow one step further."

She continued, "I was also curious about a new side of myself, and through this project, I think I will be able to show it. I will greet you with a grown appearance."

Jung Gun-joo plays detective Ji-seok. He is the person pursuing the truth of the incident surrounding Jennie. The green light that appears with each case reminds him of memories from 10 years ago.

Jung Gun-joo said, "I am happy to greet you as Ji-seok in 'M: Reboot,'" and revealed his determination, saying, "As I challenge the role of a detective, I am preparing diligently."

Director Lim Dae-woong is in charge of directing. Director Lim demonstrated an exceptional sense for horror thriller genres through dramas such as 'Chungdam International High School 2' and 'It Has Become Night'.

The writing team also raises expectations. Writer Hong Eun-mi joined forces with newcomer writer Lee Jung-eun. She has drawn character psychology in detail through films such as 'Missing: A Girlfriend'.

Meanwhile, 'M: Reboot' will be released on Tving next year.
