[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju] Netflix is introducing director Lee Chang-dong's filmography worldwide following his Venice Film Festival award.

Netflix announced on the 14th, "Director Lee Chang-dong's 'Secret Sunshine,' 'Peppermint Candy,' 'Green Fish,' and 'Oasis' will be available on global streaming."

The company has decided to expand his film lineup. 'Secret Sunshine' and 'Green Fish' have been available since last month in Italy, the UK, France, Australia, and other regions.

'Peppermint Candy' and 'Oasis' met local subscribers in Italy, Spain, and other countries on the 4th. 'Poetry' and 'Burning' are also scheduled to begin streaming later.

Director Lee Chang-dong won the Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, held on Lido Island in Venice, Italy, for 'Potential Love.'

'Potential Love' is a new work eight years after 'Burning.' It tells the story of a couple of laid-off workers and a couple of documentary filmmakers meeting and facing each other's different lives.

It will have a theatrical release before Netflix. It opens on the 23rd in Korea, followed by October 22nd in Australia and New Zealand, and October 23rd in the US, Canada, the UK, Japan, and other countries.

Meanwhile, 'Potential Love' is Korea's submission for the International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards.
