[Dispatch=Kim Ji-ho] Actress Hwang Bo-ra received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare. She was recognized for her contributions to spreading a culture of organ donation.

Hwang Bo-ra attended the 9th Life Sharing Week commemoration ceremony held on the 14th and received the commendation awarded by the Minister of Health and Welfare. She has been serving as a Life Sharing publicity ambassador since 2025 and is actively engaged in related activities.

After receiving the commendation, Hwang Bo-ra shared her thoughts, saying, "It is an honor and deeply moving to receive such a meaningful award on Life Sharing Week."

She continued, "What is more valuable than the weight of this commendation is the heart to share new hope for life with someone. Going forward, I will continue my efforts wholeheartedly so that many people can participate in the noble values of life sharing."

Since beginning her organ donation registration in 2012, Hwang Bo-ra has consistently worked to spread a culture of life sharing. In 2017, she participated in a campaign video promoting cornea donation after death through talent donation.

Since then, she has conducted interviews related to organ donation, participated in photo shoots, donated prized possessions for charity bazaars, and provided regular sponsorship. Recently, she served as MC for a regular concert of "Bra Sol Orchestra," which brings together people with and without disabilities.

Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra is currently appearing on YouTube's "Bora-iety," Channel A's "Birth of the Body God," and TV Chosun's "Joseon's Lover." She also has the film "Suneung, the Secret of Test Creation" scheduled for release in October.
