Stray Kids mourn death of teenage fan... "Rest in peace, STAY"

Stray Kids held a concert as part of "STRAYCITY" on the 16th (Korean time) at San Isidro Racecourse in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

They paid respects before the performance. A tribute message for the deceased fan was displayed on the large screen. They observed a moment of silence for one minute, saying, "We extend our sincere condolences to the deceased and their family."

The members also comforted the bereaved family directly. Argentine media "Clarín" reported on the 17th that "Stray Kids sent a letter written in Korean and flowers to the bereaved family."

The members expressed their sorrow, saying, "We understand that no words can adequately comfort the sadness the family is going through," and "Our hearts are deeply pained and heavy."

They continued, "We will not forget the fact that you loved our music and came to meet us," and "We sincerely hope the deceased rests in peace."

This became known after the deceased fan's mother shared photos on SNS. The media explained that "the members' warm hearts moved fans amid the tragic situation."

According to another media outlet, "La Nación," a teenage fan who visited the venue the previous day on the 15th collapsed on site. They were transported to a nearby hospital but were pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, "STRAYCITY" is a new music festival headlined by Stray Kids. Performances will continue in Mexico on the 25th and 26th.
