Park Jihoon Wins Grand Prize at Daejeon Film Festival… "I will become an actor who stays committed"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Actor Park Jihoon received the Grand Prize trophy for the film "The Man Living with the King."

The 8th Daejeon Special Visual Film Festival (DFX) held the awards ceremony "DFX OTT Awards" on the 17th at Hall 1 of DCC Exhibition Hall 2 in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

Park Jihoon was announced as the Grand Prize winner in the acting category that day. He received the honor after visiting the "DFX OTT Awards" to present the Best Film Award.

He said, "I want to express my gratitude to the 16.9 million audience members who loved the film," and "I am sorry and grateful that I received it on behalf of everyone."

He continued, "It was a set filled with only happy memories throughout filming," and "I am grateful to Yu Hae-jin, Director Jang Hang-jun, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do."

He did not forget to express gratitude to his fans. "I am truly so grateful to all of you, May (fan club name), who always cherish and love me," he said.

Lastly, he promised, "I want to always be a sincere actor who can persuade you. I will continue to work hard as an actor."

Park Jihoon played the role of Danjong Yi Hong-wi in "The Man Living with the King," directed by Director Jang Hang-jun. With his distinctive tearful gaze, he sparked "Hong-wi mania."

Backed by his committed performance, he swept trophies at multiple awards ceremonies. He won the Rookie Acting Award at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards and the Rookie Award at the 24th Directors Cut Awards.
