[Dispatch=Myung Joo Lee] Actress Kim Ji-won becomes a dark hero genius doctor.
SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Doctor X: The Age of White Mafia' (screenplay by Pyeon Seong-geun, directed by Lee Jeong-rim) unveiled its main poster doctor version on the 18th.
Kim Ji-won plays Gae Su-jeong, a surgeon. Blood was smeared across her entire body as if she had just finished surgery. Her unwavering gaze conveyed determination.
It hinted at her most intense transformation in her filmography. It sparked anticipation over what kind of confrontation she would have with the "white mafia" pursuing power and profit.
The production team explained about the poster, "It captures the presence of dark hero genius doctor Gae Su-jeong who overwhelms the operating room space at once."
They added, "With surgical skills alone, she stands against 'white mafia' power. Please witness the birth of an unprecedented doctor who compromises with no framework whatsoever."
'Doctor X: The Age of White Mafia' is a medical noir. It depicts the process of a surgeon with genius-level surgical skills destroying massive irregularities.
The directing is handled by Lee Jeong-rim. Through dramas such as 'Evil Spirit' and 'You Killed' the director has demonstrated strong strengths in suspense. Writer Pyeon Seong-geun also joins.
Meanwhile, 'Doctor X: The Age of White Mafia' will air its first episode next month on the 9th at 9:50 p.m.
