[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] ZEROBASEONE's Seok Matthew and Park Gun-uk are launching as the group's first unit.

Wakeone announced on the 18th through ZEROBASEONE's SNS that the two are forming a unit. They will be active under the name 'ZEROBASEONE EMP'.

Related video footage was also released. The unit logo was unveiled. 'EMP' appeared one by one over a rough texture. The sensical design heightened anticipation.

The unit name was inspired by 'Electromagnetic Pulse'. It embodies the aspiration to create a space where only the music of these two exists.

'EMP' also carries the meaning of 'Extra MTT (Matthew) PGW (Gun-uk)'. Along with the meaning 'beyond the ordinary', it previewed their musical world.

The agency said, "Please keep an eye on the two's steps as they embark on a new leap as a unit, having steadily honed their musical foundation."

Meanwhile, 'ZEROBASEONE EMP' will release their first mixtape on the 21st at 6 p.m.
