"I'm Han, the guitarist playing on a circle."

Han, guitarist of 'ONE WE', generated buzz with a short video. Not only does he have an appealing appearance, but he has truly captured fans' hearts with his guitar skills.

'Dispatch' captured Han's performance up close. Under a clear sky, he played ONE WE's "All Memories" on an acoustic guitar, and it was clear and relaxed.

The twist continued in the practice room. "Laputa" was showcased on electric guitar. The moment he grabbed the guitar and immersed himself in the performance, he radiated intense energy.

From his childhood, through band activities, to his debut as ONE WE's guitarist—we also talked about the guitar and music that have shaped the Han of today.

He appeared with a guitar slung over his shoulder.

But this visuals catches the eye even before the guitar, doesn't it.

A bit shy at first

But once he starts playing, it's different.

Music begins at Han's fingertips.

Han became shy at the staff's compliments, but when asked about how he first encountered guitar, his eyes sparkled again. And he brought up a story from elementary school.

"Around fifth grade, I couldn't sleep at night so I turned on the TV. A drama called 'Rock ROCK 樂' was airing at the time. There was a guitar battle scene. As soon as I saw it, I thought, 'Oh! I have to play guitar!'" (laughs)

"By chance, my father's acoustic guitar was at home. From the next day on, I lived with that guitar. I taught myself by watching YouTube guitar lesson videos. That's how I learned guitar."

That day, Han meticulously monitored his own performance. He asked multiple times, "Is it possible to do it one more time?" He checked every detail and prepared a flawless performance.

After Han's video was unveiled on 'MIIM', an unexpected debate emerged among fans.

"Han vs. Hyun-gu"

They distinguished between the pure acoustic guitar playing as 'Hyun-gu' (his real name) and the intense electric guitar as 'Han' mode.

Another nickname fans call him is 'Sexy Guitarist Han'

An abbreviation of sexy guitarist Han.

True to the nickname, he drives harder.

Han is also participating in music work such as songwriting and composition. He is contributing to shaping ONE WE's musical color.

We also asked him about the formation of the band 'ONE WE'.

"I met members Ha-rin and Gi-uk at an academy during student days. We met as members who play instruments. So we jammed together and took classes together."

"Gi-uk recruited Dong-myeong, who lived in the same neighborhood, as vocals. That's how four of us went to a K-pop competition as a session. There we met hyung Yong-hun. Thankfully, the five of us have been active together ever since."

ONE WE debuted on August 13, 2015 with "Butterfly, Finding a Flower." The band is maintaining solid teamwork in its 12th year.

Han and the members are currently busy preparing for a solo concert.
