[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Bang Chan of Stray Kids donated 200 million won to patients in need of rehabilitation and recovery efforts from Nepal's major flooding.

JYP Entertainment announced on the 19th, "Bang Chan transferred a total of 200 million won, 100 million won each to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and UNICEF Korea Committee."

The funds will be used to establish customized specialized rehabilitation centers at Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital, taking into account patient age and disease characteristics by field. Additionally, they will support UNICEF Korea Committee's recovery efforts from Nepal's major flooding damage.

Bang Chan said, "I wanted to offer comfort to those going through exhausting and difficult times, however small," and added, "I sincerely hope that many people will recover their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible."

This is not Bang Chan's first charitable act. On October 3rd last year, on his birthday, he donated 100 million won for children's patients. He also donated 100 million won for children worldwide.

Last year, together with Stray Kids members, he donated funds to support recovery from forest fires in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions and recovery from the Hong Kong fire. On his birthday in 2024, he donated 100 million won to support those with developmental disabilities.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids is touring the global stage with their world tour 'RUN IT'. They also held a new music festival 'STRAYCITY'. On the 25th to 26th, they will continue the festival heat in Mexico City, Mexico.
