[Dispatch=Reporter Gu Minji] Jun of SEVENTEEN is taking on another role as a film actor. He will be working alongside Hong Kong action film master Hong Jin-bao.

Jun will appear in the film "Rebirth 2" (director Ma Yuk-ga), which opens in China on October 3. He will take on the lead role and anchor the film.

"Rebirth 2" is a crime action film. Two male and female protagonists bound by the threads of fate uncover a massive conspiracy by a crime organization and embark on a revenge mission with their lives on the line.

Jun plays the role of 'Su Cheng' (苏诚). He searches for his lost younger sibling, wandering from place to place over many years. He displays both spectacular action sequences and delicate emotional acting.

The film also stars Liang Luosi (Yang Luo-shi) from the Hollywood film "The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," Hong Kong film master Hung Jin-bao (Hong Jin-bao), and distinctive actor Bai Ke.

Jun was invited to the "13th Silk Road International Film Festival" on the 19th and 20th, where he graced the opening ceremony. It is an international event with high prestige in China.

That's not all. Last month, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at "China Film Awards," one of China's largest film award ceremonies, and received a citation for his nomination.
