[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Rapper Kim Gam-jeon (22, real name Kim Sang-min, stage name Kim Sang-min He Dares Call It Legend) has been transferred to prosecutors.

Seoul Mapo Police Station transferred Kim on the 22nd to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (marijuana). This comes six days after a court issued an arrest warrant.

Kim is suspected of administering liquid marijuana during a suspended sentence period. He was released after being sentenced to eight months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence in an appellate trial in April of last year.

He is known to have a history of committing similar offenses multiple times. The first trial court in 2024 mentioned recidivism as a reason for imposing an actual sentence, which became known publicly.

Kim is a rapper who joined the hip-hop label "Indigo Music," which Swings established in 2022. He drew attention with releases including "NASA Certified" and "Hell Voyage."
