[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] aespa's Karina and Winter, and RIIZE are stepping up for Seoul tourism promotion.
Seoul City and the Seoul Tourism Foundation appointed Karina, Winter, and RIIZE as honorary Seoul tourism ambassadors this year on the 23rd. A global campaign launches from today.
Based on the message "Absolutely in Seoul," they present the "Seoul Syndrome" concept.
"Seoul Syndrome" is a neologism referring to the longing one feels after traveling to Seoul to return and experience the everyday life and culture encountered there.
The campaign video is produced in line with "Seoul Syndrome." It begins with news footage of this phenomenon appearing around the world, leading into "immortality."
They transform into modern-day immortals. Each possesses mysterious abilities. They offer an experience where ordinary moments become scenes from a K-drama.
The video is released sequentially starting with a teaser on the same day across Visit Seoul YouTube and SNS. It airs not only domestically but also on overseas outdoor media and CNN.
Online and offline events are also held. A "voice quiz" featuring the voices of Karina, Winter, and RIIZE and artist posters can be found.
