BTS surpasses Beyoncé…"38 concerts, 637 billion won in revenue"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] BTS has achieved record-breaking results with their world tour 'ARIRANG'.

American 'Pollstar' announced cumulative ticket sales by tour (Q3) on the 23rd (Korea time). The collection period spans from November 13 last year to the 12th of last month.

BTS ranked first in cumulative tour revenue with 'ARIRANG', which kicked off in April. During this period, they earned approximately 465.8 million dollars (approximately 637 billion won).

They held 38 performances in Goyang, Tokyo, Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, San Francisco, Busan, Madrid, London and elsewhere. They attracted a total of 2,314,140 attendees.

What is remarkable is that they surpassed last year's top performance with just over four months of tallied figures. They exceeded Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter Tour' (407.6 million dollars).

The city where the most tickets were sold for the 'ARIRANG' tour was Las Vegas, America. BTS held four concerts at Allegiant Stadium in May.

Over four days, a total of 245,691 ARMY (fanclub name) gathered at the venue. According to Pollstar's tally, ticket sales reached 66.6 million dollars (approximately 91.1 billion won).

The ticket sales record is not yet finished. BTS embarks on a South American tour starting with Bogotá on the 2nd of next month. They will hold 14 performances across five cities.

Meanwhile, BTS is enjoying a sustained run on the American Billboard main chart. Their regular fifth album 'ARIRANG' ranked at number 30 on the 'Billboard 200', marking 26 consecutive weeks on the chart.
