[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Rookie girl group TWEED has broken through Billboard.

According to the latest Billboard tally (as of the 26th), TWEED ranked No. 1 on the artist chart "Emerging Artists."

They also charted on other detailed charts. Their mini album first installment "TUNE&PLAY" hit No. 3 on "World Album" and No. 8 on "Top Album Sales."

Not only that. They ranked No. 78 on "Artist 100," an artist influence measurement chart, displaying strength unbecoming of a rookie.

Since their debut last month, TWEED has performed well on various charts. "TUNE&PLAY" entered the iTunes "Top Albums" in 22 countries/regions worldwide.

In just the first week of release, it sold over 110,000 copies. It made the top 10 of K-pop girl group debut album first-week sales of all time.

Their genre "Soul" is noted as having been effective. Music that combined warm sensibility with refined sound captured global listeners.
