[Dispatch=Reporter Tae Yoon Jung] Actress Park Ji Hyun has been nominated for the International Emmy Awards.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the 54th International Emmy Awards nominees on the 23rd (local time). This year, 64 nominees from 22 countries are competing across 16 categories.

Two Korean works are in contention. First, Park Ji Hyun was nominated in the Best Actress category. She is the first Korean actress to receive this nomination.

She was nominated for her role as Cheon Sangyeon in the Netflix series "Eunoh and Sangyeon". Park Ji Hyun received praise for portraying her character from her 20s to 40s, including a terminally ill appearance.

She competes against Mona Mina Leon from Belgium's "Holy Shit", Barbara Mori from Mexico's "Ruka's World", and Sheridan Smith from Britain's "I Forgot the Love".

Disney+ "Hypernife" was selected as a nominee in the TV Movie & Miniseries category. It is a medical thriller starring Park Eun Bin and Seol Kyung Gu.

In the same category are Spain's "An Anatomy Moment", Brazil's "Oxygen Masks Don't Lower Automatically", and Britain's "Prisoner 951", among others.

The awards ceremony will be held on November 23rd in New York.
