The 'A Loveless Paradise' side will release the special short film 'A Loveless Paradise - Universe' on the 29th. Episodes 1, "Your Seaweed Soup," and 2, "Because Dad is There," will be unveiled first. Director Yeon Sang-ho wrote the screenplay directly.

'A Loveless Paradise' is a thriller. Ryu So-young (played by Kim Hyun-joo) loses her son Ryu Sunoo (played by Bae Hyun-sung) in a camping school bus disappearance case nine years ago. One day, as her son returns like a miracle, the story unfolds.

The short film focuses on the technology of the company 'Trans Human' in the main film. It is a company that implements the deceased Ryu Sunoo through AI, allowing them to meet again. Against the same universe, it depicts incidents that unfold as different characters encounter this technology.

Director Yeon Sang-ho planned 'A Loveless Paradise' to explore humans in the AI era. The short film also carries forward the main film's theme. In particular, it was produced using generative AI technology, connecting the work's theme and form.

Episode 1, "Your Seaweed Soup," depicts a day in the life of an elderly man who lost his wife first. The old man meets his deceased wife again through a strange device. They taste the seasoning of food together and spend an ordinary afternoon, calmly unfolding a moment of everyday life returned by technology.

Episode 2, "Because Dad is There," is the story of a young daughter who lost her father. The daughter reunites with her father implemented through strange glasses. However, at dawn, the moment someone enters the wrong door lock password, the atmosphere takes a dramatic turn.

Behind the warm words "Because Dad is There" lies a shocking truth. It questions whether AI can become comfort in filling someone's void, or whether it creates another fear. It addresses the dilemma behind the convenience that technology has brought.

'A Loveless Paradise - Universe' is a total of four parts. Episodes 1 and 2 will be released on the 29th. Episodes 3 and 4 are scheduled to be unveiled on the 6th of next month.
