FNC Entertainment stated on the 28th, "We have confirmed cases in which threatening messages were sent to employees in charge of Hi-Fi Unicorn, and abusive language and defamatory videos targeting artists and staff have been distributed."

The agency emphasized that "private threats against others, personal defamation, and malicious distribution of false information constitute serious matters in violation of the Information and Communications Network Act and obstruction of business."

The company warned, "If we identify cases of threatening employees or distributing malicious content targeting artists, we will proceed with forced removal from the official fan club and permanent revocation of participation rights in all scheduled events."

FNC is currently conducting ongoing monitoring through its legal representatives. The company plans to take civil and criminal legal action without leniency against threats, personal defamation, and malicious fake news distribution.

We extend our gratitude to all fans who have consistently cherished and supported our affiliated artists.

For the development and healthy activities of our artists, we always listen to your legitimate voices and suggestions from fans, and we are working to improve areas where we fall short in a constructive manner.

However, recently regarding Hi-Fi Unicorn, we have confirmed cases in which threatening messages have been sent to responsible employees for the purpose of coercion, or abusive language and defamatory videos targeting artists and staff have been distributed on the grounds that their requests were not reflected. We would like to use this particular matter as an opportunity to clarify our company's response standards in order to protect the rights of all affiliated artists and employees and to prevent similar harm.

Private threats against others, personal defamation, and malicious distribution of false information constitute serious matters in violation of the Information and Communications Network Act and obstruction of business. Accordingly, our company will take firm measures to protect the minimum human rights and safety of our artists and employees.

We will continue to carefully review and actively reflect the reasonable suggestions and voices from fans conveyed through official channels. However, if we identify cases of threatening employees or distributing malicious content targeting artists beyond these channels, we will not only enforce mandatory removal from the official fan club but also permanently revoke participation rights in all scheduled events including concerts and fan meetings hosted by our company.
