Pledis Entertainment stated on the 28th, "We have been working closely with investigative authorities to apprehend and punish specialized scalpers who have been illegally trading concert tickets of our artists."

Some of the specialized scalpers were each sentenced to prison terms of 1 year and 8 months and 1 year and 4 months. The total amount of confiscation ordered against them is over 1 billion won.

Pledis said, "Investigative procedures are underway against other specialized scalpers, particularly those based overseas," and emphasized, "We will respond to ticket scalping without leniency going forward."

In March, Pledis announced that a group of scalpers who gained approximately 7 billion won in illegal profits using macro programs were apprehended by police. At that time, the company submitted materials related to scalping transactions to investigative authorities and cooperated with the investigation.

The company is continuing a strong response to protect artist rights. Through its own real-time monitoring system, it is documenting violations of rights. It plans to respond with zero tolerance to false information, insults, disparagement based on appearance or nationality, and ridicule and hate expressions in accordance with applicable laws.
