[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] The film "Tazza: Beelzebub's Song" (hereinafter "Tazza 4") took the number one spot at the box office just six days after its release.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated box office system, "Tazza 4" drew 68,913 viewers on the 28th. The cumulative audience count stands at 901,929.

The film achieved an upset at the box office despite the handicap of a restricted rating for viewers under 18. The compelling character play based on the original webtoon resonated with audiences.

The CGV Golden Egg score, which reflects actual viewer ratings, also saw a slight increase. After hovering in the 90% range, it has maintained 93% as of 9 a.m. on the 29th.

This is a significantly higher figure compared to previous installments. "Tazza: The God of Cards" recorded a 79% CGV Golden Egg score, while "Tazza: One-Eyed Jack" achieved 82%.

"Assassination" dropped to second place. The film was watched by 67,406 viewers that day. It drew 1.4 million viewers during the Chuseok holiday period but has surrendered its leading position.

The film has fallen out of favor amid allegations of historical distortion. Controversy erupted as the film dealt with multiple hypotheses surrounding the shooting incident involving Yuk Young-soo.

The issue even reached the political sphere. The People Power Party pointed out that it was "historical distortion exceeding the limits of cinematic imagination and freedom of expression, as well as political incitement."

The production company issued a statement as the controversy grew. "The film was not produced with a political agenda. We ask that you view it only as a creative work."

Meanwhile, "Tazza 4" is the final chapter of the "Tazza" series. It tells the story of the protagonists staging a revenge match on the global gambling stage.
