ILLIT Releases Mini 5th Album Film..."The End of a Relationship, Bursting Anger"

Belif Lap released a concept film for ILLIT's 5th mini album "BREAK EVEN" on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on the 28th.

The video is approximately 34 seconds long. It depicts the moment ILLIT realizes the sunk cost of emotions. It begins with a scene of lightning striking from a clear sky.

The members expressed their anger in different ways. Some wielded hammers and struck various places, while others shed tears and took out their frustrations on dolls.

The increasingly escalating orchestral melody contrasts mysteriously with the raw dialogue the members deliver. It hints at a cold breakup and adds intrigue.

Through this new album, ILLIT shows a different attitude from their previous work. Since their debut album, they have openly expressed their affection without hesitation and moved forward boldly.

But now things change. Like the album title "BREAK EVEN," which refers to the break-even point, they declare they will no longer invest their hearts and time.

The title track "I'll Arrest You" is a song where these emotions reach their peak. They boldly warn the other person who confused themselves with habitual kindness.

Meanwhile, ILLIT will hold an encore performance of "Press Start" at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 17th and 18th of next month. On the 26th, they make a comeback with the new album.
