[Dispatch=Reporter Lee A-jin] RM of BTS is unveiling his artistic world.

San Francisco's SFMOMA, a leading contemporary art museum in the United States, announced on the 30th that it will hold a special exhibition "Between You and Me" with RM.

It is the museum's first collaboration with a K-pop artist since its establishment. The museum had been paying attention to RM's interest in contemporary art and first proposed the project.

This is also the first time RM is showcasing his personal collection at a museum. He participated in curating the exhibition. He selected works and discussed the exhibition composition together with the curators.

Approximately 180 works have come together in one place. Works by Yun Hyung-keun, Park Rae-hyun, Kim Whanki, and Nam June Paik can be seen. The flow of Korean art from the 6th century to the present can also be traced.

Among these, RM's collection comprises approximately 140 works. RM personally prepared audio guides in Korean and English. He also added his own taste to the music playing through the exhibition space.

He said, "I think it is rare for a collection gathered by one person over a long time to show that person as honestly as this does," and "in that sense, this exhibition will be quite a long self-introduction."

He added, "There may be names that are still unfamiliar outside of Korea, but I have been collecting with a desire to add a somewhat better perspective and sense," and "that process led to this exhibition."

Meanwhile, "Between You and Me" will run from the 3rd of next month through February 7 next year.
