[Dispatch=Yuha Reporter] Actor Yoo Yeon-seok transforms into a cold-blooded specialist.

The MBC-TV new Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar' (written by Baek Jae-young, directed by Jo Young-min) released production stills on the 30th. The images capture cardiac surgeon Min Junho (played by Yoo Yeon-seok).

'Liar' is a thriller drama. Two men and women make completely opposite claims about one memory. It depicts a story of fierce collision toward the truth.

Yoo Yeon-seok plays a man raising his son alone after his wife passed away. He begins to feel curiosity toward Kang Ji-sun (played by Hyunjin), whom he meets by chance.

The stills capture two faces of Min Junho. Before surgery, he reveals cold charisma. In another photo, he gazes at something in a dark space. His unwavering gaze heightens tension.

The 'Liar' production team said, "Yoo Yeon-seok possesses broad expressiveness and energy," and added, "He has actually portrayed Min Junho perfectly in his own way. We ask for your anticipation."

The reunion with Hyunjin also draws attention. The two breathe together again for the first time in 10 years since 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim' in 2016. That work recorded a peak viewership rating of 27.6%.

'Liar' airs its first episode on the 30th of next month at 9:50 p.m.
