[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yun] After actor Han Ga-in clarified suspicions of undisclosed advertising through receipt authentication, YouTuber 'Dying Fox TV,' who raised the allegations, apologized.

Dying Fox TV stated on the 30th in a YouTube post, "Regardless of the reason, I apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable with this video."

Dying Fox TV recently mentioned Han Ga-in in a video dealing with the advertising method and efficacy of an albumin product. Even after Han Ga-in's clarification, the controversy continued as the YouTuber separately edited the relevant portion and uploaded it as a short.

The YouTuber said, "I cut only Han Ga-in's content, not the essence, and unnecessarily made it into a short, creating misunderstanding," and added, "As a channel that should focus on the essence, it was an immature and reckless judgment."

The YouTuber continued, "I pledged not to forget the weight of the microphone you gave me, but I immediately created a problem. Through this, I am deeply feeling how heavy and frightening that weight is, and recognizing my shortcomings and arrogance."

Han Ga-in uploaded a video last November on her YouTube channel titled "Film Festival Han Ga-in Has Consistently Taken for 25 Years. NOT PPL" introducing the product.

As the controversy grew, Han Ga-in emphasized, "The video is 'my money, my purchase' content introducing a product I personally purchased and used without any compensation or sponsorship. There is no falsehood regarding whether it is an advertisement."

On the 29th, she even disclosed the actual purchase details. Han Ga-in purchased 90 bottles of the product for 616,000 won on July 23, 2024, before opening her YouTube channel.

She also attached records of an additional purchase of the same product in March of last year. However, she apologized for the part where she introduced the product's efficacy based on personal experience.

Han Ga-in said, "Through this incident, I realized how delicate it is to convey information based on subjective feelings without rigorous verification," and added, "Going forward, even for products I have personally purchased and experienced, I will strictly confirm objective facts before sharing."
