According to the Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticket system, "Tazza: Beelzebub's Song" surpassed one million viewers on the 30th in the afternoon, its eighth day of release.

This matches the pace of "Opposition," a box office hit rated 18 and over that attracted 3.38 million viewers last year. Since its release, it has been leading the box office with high seat occupancy rates.

Despite the barrier of its 18 and over rating, the film is maintaining steady box office momentum on the strength of word-of-mouth from audiences. Entering its second week of release, it is expected to sustain its box office heat.

"Tazza: Beelzebub's Song" tells the story of Jang Taeyoung (played by Byun Yo-han), who thought he had everything through online casino operations, and his best friend of the same name Park Taeyoung (played by Noh Jae-won), who took everything from him, meeting again on the global gambling circuit for a match of revenge.

The film has received praise for inheriting the originality of the "Tazza" series while offering new entertainment fitting of a finale work, and a distinctive world that does not require knowledge of the existing series.
