Distributor KT Studio Genie announced on the 1st, "Jeongyeon has confirmed her appearance in the film 'Newbie The Movie: Ghosts Live in the Military Hospital' (Director Min Jin-ki)."

'Newbie The Movie: Ghosts Live in the Military Hospital' is a work that brings the 'Newbie' universe to the screen. It tells the story of new recruits against the backdrop of a military hospital.

Jeongyeon is making her big-screen debut 10 years after her debut. She has been active as TWICE's lead vocalist up until now. She has been cast in the role of nurse officer Yoo Jeongyeon.

In addition to Jeongyeon, those who have led the 'Newbie' series make their appearance. Kim Min-ho, Nam Tae-woo, and Kim Yo-han will appear. Ryu Kyung-soo joins newly as well.

The direction is handled by Director Min Jin-ki. Director Min has successfully made a total of 4 'Newbie' series. In the case of 'Newbie 4', it achieved the season's highest viewership rating.
