[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Actor Son Seok-gu returns with a global cooperation investigation series.
Netflix announced on the 2nd, "The new series 'Blue Road' (screenplay by Cho Yu-jin and Han Jun-hee, directed by Han Jun-hee) has confirmed its release date as November 20."
'Blue Road' is an adaptation based on a webtoon of the same name. It depicts detectives from both South Korea and Japan pursuing the true culprit of a bizarre murder case.
The related poster has been unveiled. Detective Kim Seok (played by Son Seok-gu) from Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and Detective Inose (played by Nagayama Eita) from Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department were spotted.
The copy is eerie from the start. The phrase "twisted corpse, mysterious message, bizarre murder across borders" has sparked curiosity about an unpredictable cooperation.
A trailer has also been released. It shows them rushing urgently to the crime scene. At the scene were messages written in blood in Korean and Japanese.
Kim Seok and Inose persistently tracked the murder case that crossed borders, each in their own way. A subtle tension was felt, adding to the intrigue.
Meanwhile, 'Blue Road' is an invited work to the 'On Screen' section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival. Director Han Jun-hee, Son Seok-gu, Nagayama Eita, and Kim Shin-rok will attend.
