[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Singer Lee Soo-young is temporarily suspending her radio activities.

On the 5th, Lee Soo-young posted a letter titled "A Letter from DJ Lee Soo-young to You All" on the homepage of CBS Music FM's "Let's Meet at Noon with Lee Soo-young."

She revealed that her son is undergoing treatment. Lee Soo-young announced, "Before Chuseok, my child fell ill and was diagnosed with 'acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia' during a hospital examination."

She continued, "Difficult tests and treatments are ongoing, but my child is bearing it admirably," and added, "I am also trying to endure well."

Since nursing care is required due to chemotherapy, she decided to take a break from her radio DJ role for the time being. Lee Soo-young said, "It is a situation where I cannot take my eyes off my child for a moment."

She then said, "As a mother of one child, this is when I must stay by my child's side so he can overcome this difficult treatment process," and asked for "understanding with an open heart."

She concluded by saying, "Once again, I sincerely apologize. I will wait for the day I can greet you all in good health more earnestly than anyone."
