[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-joo] Actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra, a married couple, will take the stage together for the first time since their debuts.
The two will appear in the play "Love Letter," which opens next month on the 5th. They will perform the entire run as the original cast, allowing audiences to witness their acting chemistry up close.
"Love Letter" is a work by American playwright A.R. Gurney. It depicts love and friendship through two men and women who have exchanged letters over 50 years since childhood.
Choi Soo-jong plays Andy, a man devoted to the life his parents desired. Ha Hee-ra takes on the role of Melissa, a woman with a deficit in parental love.
Character posters have also been revealed. The two are pictured posing with a single letter. This hints at the entirely different lifestyles of each character.
A representative explained, "This married couple, who have been together for a long time in real life, will become two men and women who write letters to each other over a lifetime on stage."
They added, "Please watch to see what kind of breathing and emotion Andy and Melissa—who share their lives through letters—will be portrayed with over this long time."
Meanwhile, the play "Love Letter" will run from the 5th of next month through December 27th at KT&G Sangsangmadang Daechi Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
