Hoshi to Release Solo Track on the 10th… "Boyfriend, an Aggressive Love Song"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Hoshi of SEVENTEEN is releasing a new song while serving in the military.

Pledis Entertainment announced on the 10th, "Hoshi will release the new song 'BOYFRIEND' on various music platforms at 6 p.m. that day."

'BOYFRIEND' is an R&B pop genre track. Hoshi participated in writing the lyrics. The song honestly expresses the flutter and clumsy emotions toward an unrequited love.

It features a shuffle rhythm and refreshing synthesizer sound. Direct lyrics and Hoshi's distinctive energy come together to complete an aggressive love song.

Since debut, Hoshi has presented diverse solo songs. Starting with the mixtape 'Spider' in 2021, he released 'Tiger Power' and others.

While serving as an active-duty Army soldier, he also dropped a surprise new song. Following 'Take a Shot' released on his enlistment day, he showcased 'Fallen Superstar' and 'Cute and Cozy.'

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is expanding their music spectrum through members' solo and unit activities. Jeonghan X Joshua will release a mini first album on the 19th.
