Ma Dong-seok Appears in 'Street Fighter'... Master Gouken, Voice Acting

Lotte Entertainment, the domestic distributor, announced on the 12th, "Ma Dong-seok appears in 'Street Fighter' as Gouken, the master of Ryu and Ken Masters."

'Street Fighter' is a film adaptation of the Japanese fighting game of the same name. It is a story where characters face a massive conspiracy hidden within a life-or-death confrontation.

Ma Dong-seok voices Gouken. Gouken is the master who taught martial arts to Ryu and Ken, and is a character deeply connected to the relationship between the two.

An official explained, "Since he shared their past with those who grew up like brothers, he will play an important role in deeply understanding the relationship between the two."

They added, "Ma Dong-seok, who has shown intense action on screen, is expected to reveal another side of himself through his voice acting as Gouken."

Meanwhile, 'Street Fighter' opens in theaters on the 14th.
