[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin] Actors Gu Kyo-hwan and Han Jimin are joining forces in a disaster comedy. They meet as a lovely and cheerful couple.

The film 'Typhoon' (director Lee Jongho, working title) revealed casting news and lineup on the 14th, announcing an October crank-in. Gu Kyo-hwan, Han Jimin, Oh Jung-se, Han Sun-hwa, and Kim Eung-soo are set to appear.

'Typhoon' is a disaster escape comedy. It tells the story of Jin-mo (played by Gu Kyo-hwan) and Jae-i (played by Han Jimin), who have decided to break up, encountering a massive typhoon at a hometown relative's wedding.

Gu Kyo-hwan plays Jin-mo. He is from the provinces, graduated from S University, and joined a large corporation. In reality, he is an ordinary office worker stuck in a perpetual assistant manager position. He plays a realistic husband and father.

Han Jimin plays Jin-mo's wife, Jae-i. She was a talented employee at a publishing company but quit after marriage. She dreams of transitioning to becoming a YouTuber. In each disaster situation, she finds breakthroughs using know-how from her 'life tips channel.' She displays a sharp and bold character.

Oh Jung-se takes on Sang-hyuk, the couple's friend. He is Jin-mo's hometown friend and a 119 rescue worker. He attempts to rescue the couple who fall into a disaster situation but becomes isolated with them. His portrayal of a free-spirited soul is set to be a point of interest.

Han Sun-hwa plays Rose, a pension owner. She is stingy and won't offer lodging discounts even when typhoons come, yet she is a romanticist who dreams of a Titanic-like love.

Kim Eung-soo and Oh Min-ae join as Hyun-deok and a writer, a 48-year-old pair traveling across the country in a camper van. While bickering with each other, they look out for one another and add warmth.

Kim Yo-han and Choi Jisoo appear as Dae-han and Cha-young, a couple preparing for marriage. They meet Jin-mo and Jae-i amid the disaster situation.

'Typhoon' has director Lee Jongho handling both screenplay and direction. He has previously directed 'Beast' and 'Wandering Blade.' The film is scheduled for release next year.
