[Dispatch=Yuha Reporter] Actor Kim Soo Hyun's agency is taking strong action against the spread of false information and violations of honor and personality rights.

Gold Medal released a statement on the 14th saying, "As a result of investigation by the authorities, a no-charge decision has been made regarding the claim that Kim Soo Hyun dated the deceased during her minor years and the allegation of violation of the Child Welfare Act based on this premise."

The agency stated, "It has been confirmed that the series of claims raised against Kim Soo Hyun have no factual or objective basis," and added, "The matter has been proven to be false information through the results of official investigation."

Previously, Kim Se-ui of 'Gaseyon' raised false claims about Kim Soo Hyun. That he dated the late Kim Sae Ron from her minor years. The content was transmitted on YouTube approximately 25 times. Kim Se-ui was sent to trial on charges including defamation by stating false facts under the Information and Communications Network Act.

The agency plans to take legal action against further spread of false information, malicious comments, and indirect defamatory acts. It emphasized that "acts of continuously citing Kim Se-ui's claims or re-posting, sharing, or re-distributing them as if they were facts constitute additional illegal acts that continue and expand crime damage."

The scope of legal action was also specified in detail. This includes insulting expressions and personal attacks, malicious ridicule and defamation, and posts that distort facts. Videos and images with only certain content intentionally excerpted or edited, as well as indirect defamation using initial consonants, hints, slang, or aliases are also targets.

An official stated, "We plan to pursue both criminal complaints and civil damages claims for illegal acts," and added, "If a party is finally confirmed as a subject of legal action, we will file criminal complaints without settlement and will also file a separate civil lawsuit for business damages."

Self-deletion of existing posts was recommended. The agency said, "Whether or not posts are self-deleted may be considered in sentencing and damages calculation in future legal proceedings," while also warning that "even if posts are deleted, criminal and civil liability for already-committed illegal acts will not be extinguished."

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference in March of last year and completely denied the allegations. The police made a no-charge decision regarding the allegations in May. This came approximately one year and two months after the allegations were raised.
