[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju Reporter] Director Lee Chang-dong's new film "Possible Love" has heightened anticipation ahead of its Netflix release.
Netflix unveiled the main poster for "Possible Love" (directed by Lee Chang-dong) on the 15th. Centered on Mi-ok (played by Jeon Do-yeon), who gazes straight ahead, the poster captures the subtle atmosphere of four figures.
Unlike Mi-ok, Ho-seok (played by Seol Kyung-gu), Sang-woo (played by Cho Jin-sung), and Yeji (played by Cho Yeo-jeong) look in different directions. The wavering forms suggested the undulation of emotions and the stirring inner world.
"Possible Love" tells the story of a laid-off worker and his wife, a documentary director and her husband, who meet to make a documentary and face each other's different lives and hidden desires.
The film has set a historic record at world-renowned film festivals. It became the first Korean film to win the Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival. It also won the TIFF Ebert Director's Award at the Toronto International Film Festival, among others.
Meanwhile, "Possible Love" will be available on Netflix on the 6th of next month.
