[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju Reporter] The film 'Hope' (directed by Na Hong-jin) comes to home theaters three months after its theatrical release.
Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on the 15th that "'Hope' will begin simultaneous VOD service with theaters starting on the 21st through IPTV, cable TV, and other platforms."
It will be available on multiple platforms. The service will be provided through three IPTV companies including SK Broadband, Skylife, Apple TV, Wave, Coupang Play, Tving, and Watcha.
Viewers can also choose video quality. Not only standard 2K HD, but also 4K service—unusually for a Korean film—is provided. You can enjoy it in even clearer quality.
However, the schedule confirmed this time is limited to paid VOD service. For subscription-based OTTs such as Netflix, the release date has not yet been decided.
Meanwhile, 'Hope' is a story that begins when the head of a Hopohan branch office hears news that a tiger has appeared and faces an unbelievable reality.
