[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Singer Taemin met Son Heung-min. He set foot on the ground of his team Los Angeles FC (LAFC).

On the 15th (Korea time), Taemin attended as a guest at the Major League Soccer (MLS) LAFC home match held at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California, USA.

On this day, he wore a uniform engraved with his English name 'TAEMIN' and '93', which represents his birth year. He paired it with loose jeans, completing a free-spirited atmosphere.

Before the match, he also appeared as an 'Honorary Falconer'. This is LAFC's exclusive kickoff ceremony. The match begins with the team's mascot, a falcon, being released into the air.

The club also extended hospitality. LAFC shared related photos on social media on that day. After introducing Taemin as an 'Honorary Falconer', they wrote, "Taemin always shines."

After the ceremony, Taemin also met with Son Heung-min, who serves as LAFC's captain. A photo captured the two conversing in a friendly atmosphere.

The agency said, "Taemin participated in an iconic event of American sports culture," and added, "It is meaningful to have presented a special moment connecting music and sports."

Toward global fans, they also said, "(The event) coincided with Taemin's ongoing world tour, and we hope it became an opportunity for diverse exchanges with local fans as well."

Meanwhile, Taemin kicked off '2026–27 Taemin World Tour-Liminal' at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 18th to 20th of last month.
