RIIZE, comeback with new single on 26th…"Insomnia, first acoustic pop"

SM Entertainment announced on the 19th, "RIIZE will release a new single 'Insomnia' on various music sites on the 26th at 0 a.m. (Korean time)."

This marks their comeback with a new song in approximately four months. RIIZE previously released activity with their second mini album 'II' in June. They have achieved a total of four million sellers.

The title track 'Do your dance' also drew global popularity. This song was the first among RIIZE's songs to enter the US radio charts.

'Insomnia' is an acoustic pop genre that RIIZE is newly challenging. A quiet yet lonely atmosphere is combined with the members' calm yet poignant vocals.

Lyricist Kim Eena wrote the lyrics. The song quietly depicts thoughts toward a person that become clearer as the night deepens, and the complex emotions that branch out from it.

In particular, this song differs from the musical style RIIZE has presented so far. A distinctive feature is focusing on the six members' vocals without their signature performance.

Meanwhile, RIIZE will release their second full-length album in spring next year.
