[Dispatch=Lee A-jin] BTS will close out this year's 'The City' project in Singapore.
Big Hit Music announced on the 19th through global fan platform Weverse the holding of 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – SINGAPORE'.
'The City' is a large-scale urban project linked to BTS's world tour. Various locations throughout the city are decorated as spaces where fans can experience the artist's music and worldview.
This event will be held across Singapore from December 1–31. In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, it will be promoted as a national-level event. It will run for one month, the longest duration in 'The City' history.
The Singapore Tourism Board stated, "This is the largest scale city-wide project done in collaboration with a single artist," and added, "We are proud to present 'The City Arirang,' which is being held for the first time in Southeast Asia."
Major local institutions are also participating. Mandai Wildlife Reserve, National Gallery Singapore, National Museum of Singapore, Resort World Sentosa, Sentosa Development Corporation, Kallang Group and others are involved.
'The City' began in Seoul in March. It has since expanded to Las Vegas, Busan, London, and New York. Each city's landmarks were decorated with the theme of the new album 'ARIRANG,' delivering special experiences.
Meanwhile, BTS will begin the Asia leg of the world tour 'Arirang' in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on the 19th of next month.
